  Went after the Bue bonnets and it was very busy. There was a short wait for a table "but worth the wait". Atmosphere was great our waitress Wendy was wonderful. The kitchen was a little slow but it gave us time to relax after all the walking in the Blue Bonnets. I had the catfish and it was great, my husband had the T bone pork chop and it would be worth a 3 hour drive to get. Another person had the chicken fried steak and it was great. We all had the pinto beans and yummy does not even come close to saying how good they were. The only thing bad was the garlic mashed potatoes and they didn't have any flavor. It's over an hour to get there but we will go again.

  Nice place with friendly staff. There is a wide array of items to choose from on the menu so there is something for everyone in your party.

  I am a firefighter... and as anyone knows if you can make a firefighter happy about food you dun good! This is a great place for hometown southern food and hospitality and home town staff made me feel like a local! The staff are great christian ladies who make sure your meal is perfect!
